New Member
Welcome!
Thank you for your interest in joining the Bunbury Swimming Club.
Becoming a Member
Bunbury Swimming Club membership is for a period of 12 months commencing from the first of October of each year although swimmers can join at any time during the year.
We recommend swimmers have passed Stage 8 of Education Department or Royal Lifesaving Society’s Swim and Survive program or equivalent.
It is a requirement that all swimmers have at least one parent / guardian registered as a member with the club (parent membership is free) and also be registered with Swimming Western Australia (SWA) and Swimming Australia (SAL) (parent membership is free).
How To Join
We offer all potential new members with 3 free - try-outs. At the first try-out, the swimmer will be given a short assessment with one of our coaches. This will ensure we find the right squad for your swimming ability. Once a squad has been selected the swimmer will be given the opportunity to join one of our squads and see if they enjoy training. Try-outs are held Mondays and Wednesdays at 3:30pm (assessment) and then 4:00pm to 5:00pm squad try-out.
To become a new member and organise a try-out, follow these steps:
-
Complete our online form - link below.
-
Our Registrar will then email to confirm the tryout time. Please note that we are volunteers and you may not receive a reply the same day.
-
Once tryouts are completed and you decide to join, you will be provided with a website link to complete an online membership registration through www.myswimresults.com.au.
-
Register and pay both Bunbury SC and Swimming WA Annual fees online to MySwimResults and the first monthly squad fees via direct debit to the Bunbury SC account.
Note: Parent membership (free) will also be completed on My Swim Results
