Round 4 of the Open Water Series was held in Busselton over the weekend where over 180 swimmers took to idyllic Geograph Bay. We had 9 of our members swimming with all of them producing fantastic results.
Congratulations to Tahlia Jensen, Jye Jensen, Courtney Lee and Kyle Lee for qualifying for the Open Water Nationals which are to be held in Adelaide on 27 - 29 January, 2017.
Congrats also to Charley Barrett who claimed 1st position in the 1.25km Open category and to Lexie Edwards for placing first in the 1.25km U/15 division and first swimmer overall. An awesome effort! Not sure which is more satisfying for Lexie, coming first or beating dad Brant to the line by 2 minutes. 😜Well done to all swimmers!!
