Bunbury SC members Maddison Stewart, Sam Ellis, Kaiden Richings, Alex Saffy, Joshua Hunt and Tom Ellis qualified and represented our Club last weekend at the State Junior Short Course Championships. They were joined by BSC Senior Head Coach, Nick Ciffolilli.
Held over 2 days at HBF Stadium Perth, the State Junior SC Championships sees the best Junior athletes from all over WA competing. Maddison and Kaiden were standout performers with Maddison picking up 3 bronze medals and Kaiden 3 gold, 3 silver and 3 bronze medals.
Alex won bronze in the 100m butterfly and Joshua a silver in the 50m backstroke. Sam and Tom came away without medals however Sam manged an impressive 90% PB times and Tom 100%.
Overall the swimmers had improved 88.2% in their PB times.
