Rori Parsons and Tahlia Jensen are off to the 2016 Australian OW Championships this weekend in Mooloolaba, Qld. Tahlia (16) qualified for the U/18 5 km and Rori (13) the U/15 5 km. Tahlia has swum many OW events this season and is currently ranked 2nd for U/18 on the OWS leaderboard. Rori only tried OWS for the first time at the Bunbury event (mainly because it was local and easy to attend) and won her 2.5 km event. On the strength of this, and because she enjoyed it so much, she was encouraged to swim the Sorrento event, as a late entrant, where she did the 5 km event and blitzed the National qualifying time! Of course, a fabulous support crew of Mum's and Chiffa will be travelling to Qld as well. 👍🏼 On behalf of the club, we wish you all the very best.....GO BUNBURY!!
