What an impressive weekend of racing we had at the Country Championships in Perth on the weekend. Congratulations to everyone involved! The 42 swimmers that attended the meet set 190 new personal best times and won a total of 94 medals (41 Gold, 27 Silver and 26 Bronze). While there were many outstanding swims on the weekend, special mention must go to Maddison Stewart who achieved a national qualifying time in the 200m breaststroke to the delight of her team mates in the stands and those cheering her on from the side of the pool. Congratulations Maddi! She joins other Bunbury swimmers Courtney Lee, Ross Rann and Jye Jensen in qualifying for the National Age Championships to be held in Brisbane in April.
