The Club had another very successful campaign at the SunSmart State Age Long Course Championships the week before Christmas. The best 450 swimmers from 34 clubs around the State took part in the meet including the Singapore National Swim Team. Our swimmers set 92 personal best times and won 20 state championship medals (4 Gold, 9 Silver and 7 Bronze) however the most impressive result is that the team finished 7th place in the points rankings for the meet and top regional club overall. Well done to the following swimmers who contributed to the Club’s success at the meet – Max Coulter, Amy Duncan, Lexie Edwards, Sam Ellis, Jye Jensen, Alice Johnson, Amy Kerr, Courtney Lee, Kyle Lee, Amity Parsons, Rori Parsons, Kaiden Richings, Georgia Saffy and Maddison Stewart. Maddison also secured a national qualifying time in the 200m breaststroke at the meet which is a special achievement – congratulations Maddison!
