It was a glorious day with lots of sunshine at the Harvey Open Carnival on Saturday. The Bunbury team, made up mostly of junior swimmers, did a fantastic job setting 34 new personal best times. The team also picked up a total of 47 medals (9 Gold, 20 Silver and 18 Bronze) including a bronze medal in the Mixed 8 to 12 years 4 x 50m freestyle relay. The meet was a great opportunity for our swimmers to gain some more experience racing in an outdoor pool which always presents extra challenges with the sun, glare and wind.
